The NCAR/Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology Division
invites you to attend its first
joint WRF and MM5 Users' Workshop. The workshop
aims to provides a forum for both MM5 and WRF users to share their
research results, and discuss problems and new developments.
Papers in the areas of model development, efforts
in making the transition from MM5 to WRF, and comparison studies
between MM5 and WRF are especially encouraged. A preprint volume
will be prepared. Presentation titles and a short abstract are requested
at the time of registration, and the extended abstracts will be
solicited at a later date (see specific date information below).
This year's workshop is specially arranged to be held
off site for the first 2 days, and in the NCAR's facility for the
last two days:

auditorium at 3080 Center Green
We will provide a shuttle service between the Millennium
Harvest House and NCAR's Center Green laboratory, and would encourage
participants to make hotel recervations at the Millennium Harvest
House (special rate for workshop participants will be $93.00 a night).
The workshop will be followed by the first hands-on
WRF Tutorial (June 28 - July 2, 2004 - announcement (a link)).
This year a summer MM5 tutorial will NOT be held
during this two week period. The date for the next MM5 tutorial
has not been determined.
