2005 Joint WRF/MM5 User's Workshop Announcement

The NCAR Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology Division cordinally invites you to attend the Joint WRF/MM5 Users' Workshop in Boulder, Colorado on 27 -30 June, 2005.
The workshop provides a forum for users of both models to share your experience, discuss any problems and issues you may have with the usage of both modeling systems, and new developments.
Since the MM5 code is now frozen, the workshop will emphasize user contributions to the development and testing of WRF. Comparison studies of WRF and MM5, and efforts and issues in making transition from MM5 to WRF are also encouraged.
A preprint volume will be prepared in the format of CD-ROM. Presentation titles and a short abstract are requested at the time of registration, and the extended abstracts will be solicited at a later date (see specific date information below). (Presenter's Extended Abstract FAQ)
The deadline for early registration is May 16, 2005. The early registration fee is $175.00. If you register after May 16, the registration fee will be $225.00. If you would like to present a paper at the workshop, you must register by this date, and submit the title and a short abstract. A 4-page extended abstract is due June 3, 2005.
This year's workshop will be held Millennium Harvest House, 1345 28th Street, Boulder, Colorado.
A block of hotel rooms are reserved at the Millennium Harvest House (special rate for workshop participants will be $87.00 a night). More information about lodging is available at the "Travel/Lodging" link.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your attendance at the WRF Workshop, please be aware of our policy:
Before June 17, we will refund your registration fee less $25.00 to cover administrative fees.
After June 17 there will be no refunds.
